Upon introduction, the 650i Coupe is equipped with a standard 4.8-liter, V8, 360-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. The 650i Convertible is equipped with a standard 4.8-liter, V8, 360-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2008 6 Series is freshened for 2008.

2008 BMW 7 Series

The 2008 BMW 7 Series is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, or luxury sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 750i Sedan to the 760Li Sedan. Upon introduction, the 750i Sedan is equipped with a standard 4.8-liter, V8, 360-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 23-mpg on the highway. The 760Li Sedan is equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V12, 438-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 20-mpg on the highway. The 2008 BMW M is a 2-door, 2-passenger sports car, or convertible sports car, available in two trims, the Coupe and the Roadster. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 3.2-liter, I6, 330-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 2008 M is a carryover from 2007.

The 2008 BMW M5 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sports sedan, available in one trim only, the Sedan. Upon introduction, the M5 is equipped with a standard 5.0-liter, V10, 500-horsepower engine. 2008 BMW Z4 Series

The 2008 BMW Z4 is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, or convertible sports car, available in 3 trims, ranging from the Roadster 3.0i to the Coupe 3.0si. Upon introduction, the Roadster 3.0i is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 215-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway.
