The 2008 Buick Enclave is a 4-door, up to 8-passenger SUV, available in 4 trims, ranging from the CX FWD to the CXL AWD. Upon introduction, the CX FWD is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter, V6, 275-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. The CXL AWD is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter, V6, 275-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2008 Enclave is all-new for 2008.

Upon introduction, the CX is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 200-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. The Super is equipped with a standard 5.3-liter, V8, 300-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2008 LaCrosse is freshened for 2008.
